The farmstead will operate as a historic site and community facility. The design intent is to recreate the appearance of the site as it existed during its c.1900 treatment period, reflecting the farmstead’s evolution over time. The site is significant for its ability to provide new information important to understanding the history of rural life in Warren County.
The National Register nomination established the site’s period of significance as c 1760 to 1900, when the farmstead achieved its present configuration and character.
